Galéo is the POSLIGNE® range?s all-in-one, integrated «vertical concept» solution. Galéo?s graceful form rises from its base unit - which contains both the CPU and the integrated customer display - and has the smallest of sales counter footprints. Its vertical design makes it particularly suited for use in bars, restaurants, fast food outlets, takeaway applications and multiple-till checkout counters. Galéo is sturdy and stable, with well-thought-out accessibility featuring thumbscrews for tool-free opening at both front and rear. This simplifies routine maintenance and minimises service downtime. Two versions of Galéo are available: fan-equipped and fanless. Based on the Intel ULV processor, this technology is particularly recommended for use in aggressive environments. Fanless systems prevent dust, flour and fatty materials from being absorbed into the machine. What is more, this version is virtually noiseless. Galéo is also available with an optional flash drive instead of a hard disk. The advantage of this alternative is that there are no moving parts.
